Vendor Booth Sponsorship – $5,000

Mug Contest

We want to see YOUR best holiday artwork!
Local high schoolers are invited to design this year’s Sandusky Christmas Market mug.
Our community is filled with young artists that hold so much incredible talent—and we want to showcase it.
Be sure to read the directions carefully, and best of luck!
Eligibility:
Open to all High School Students in the Sandusky City Schools; Sandusky Central Catholic School, area private high schools, as well as those surrounding (Margaretta; Vermillion; Edison; Norwalk; Norwalk St. Paul; Port Clinton; Bellevue; Huron; Danbury; Monroeville; Clyde; Fremont Ross; Fremont St. Joe; Perkins)
One entry per person.
Contest Theme:
Designs should reflect the spirit of the Christmas Market, community togetherness, and holiday cheer. Entries may include elements such as festive decorations, local landmarks, and/or traditional holiday imagery.
Design Requirements:
Artwork should fit within a 2.5” x 7” wrap-around mug template.
Both hand-drawn and digital designs are accepted.
Limited to Maximum of 5 Colors for easy printing.
No copyrighted or AI-generated artwork.
Must be original work by the contestant.
Submission Details:
Deadline: All entries must be received by May 17th, 2025.

If, for any reason, you have difficulty uploading your artwork on our website, please send via email to sanduskychristmasmarket@gmail.com.
Include your name, age, phone number, and email, as well as grade and school attending, with your submission.
Selection Process:
Judging Panel & Community Vote: The Sandusky Christmas Market Team will select the top 3 finalists, with a public vote to decide the winner.
Voting Period: May 21st-May 24th.
Winner Announcement: May 27th, via Christmas Market social media and website.
Prizes & Recognition:
Winning Design: Printed on the official 2025 Christmas Market Mug!
Grand Prize: A free mug, a vendor gift basket, and recognition at the market!
Finalists’ Designs: Displayed at the Christmas Market for community appreciation.
Mug Sales:
The winning mug will be available for purchase at the Sandusky Christmas Market.

The Vendor Application for the 2025 Sandusky Christmas Market is officially OPEN!
We were so impressed and pleased with our vendors last year - we hope you will consider returning this year! We are hoping to add at least 10+ booths to this year's Market, making it even bigger and better than 2024
We are seeking vendors that specialize in German/European styled foods and crafts, as well as Christmas/Holiday themed foods and crafts, such as:
-Traditional German Hand-Crafted Items (Ornaments, Wooden Decorations, Nativity Sets, Advent Calendars, Pottery, Nutcrackers, etc.)
-Hand-Knitted Winter Apparel (Gloves/Mittens, Scarves, Hats, Socks)
-Hand-Crafted, Unique Jewelry
-Fresh Wreaths, Garland, and other Home Decor
-Traditional Hand-Crafted Christmas Decorations
-Traditional German Fare (Bratwurst, Sausage, Pretzels, Traditional Pastries, Potato Pancakes, Nuts, etc.)
-Coffee, Specialty Drinks (Gluhwein, etc.)
Here are a few important details:
-Applications must be completed by September 1, 2025.
-If you have a preference for booth type (walk-in or window-style), we highly encourage you to apply early, as some assignments may be determined based on application submission date.
-Vendors must be available for at least one FULL weekend.
-All booths will have one 15 amp outlet and a propane heater.
-Please consider that this event is entirely outdoors. Conditions may include wind, frigid temperatures, snow, rain, ice, etc. Vendors should be adequately prepared for these conditions, including exposure to prolonged cold temps.

Exciting News! The 2nd Annual Sandusky Christmas Market is Coming!
Get ready to celebrate the magic of the holiday season at the 2nd Annual Sandusky Christmas Market! Returning bigger and better, this year’s Market will be filled with festive cheer, local artisans, delicious treats, live entertainment, and so much more!
Dates: November 28th-30th; December 5th-7th; December 12th-13th
Location: Schade-Mylander Plaza (108 W. Shoreline Dr., Sandusky)
Times: Fridays: 5pm-8pm; Saturdays: 12pm-8pm; Sundays: 12pm-6pm
